Eddy Munroe was an Oji-Cree from Garden Hill, Manitoba. He started painting and carving soapstone at an early age mentored by Carl Ray an Eddy Cabiness.
Eddy also received training from Jackson Beardy at the Jackson Beardy Art School.
Eddy has a stylized approach to painting wildlife of the area in which he grew up.
